Unique Bird Houses - Building Your Own Unique Birdhouse

Recently I was looking for unique birdhouses for the back yard. But I thought I would first see what kind of information there was to be had on building your own birdhouse from scratch.

I came across this video from the folks at Self-Sufficient-Life on building a bird house from one piece of lumber. Its about a 4 minute video that describes the process in good detail, but I still wasn’t sure about all the dimensions. If you are looking to build a novelty bird house, building a bird house from scratch on your own will be a fairly unique one, and gives you the opportunity to paint or decorate your bird house as you see fit.
